High
performance exercise and nutritional design company focuses on expanding
service by providing new service to major league baseball players.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January
7, 2007 -- Veteran baseball player, Jeff Cirillo, has become the latest
elite athlete to join with the comprehensive performance group,
AllProActive. Cirillo, who signed with the Minnesota Twins this off-season,
is preparing himself to be a significant contributor to his new team.
"I really love the game and know that I have a lot more to give to it
and the fans. A friend introduced me to Patrick Welch, the director of
AllProActive and he and I discussed how I could achieve my goals."
What makes Patrick and his team different than the typical personal
training service is the attention to detail. "We look at every aspect
of the athlete's lifestyle and find ways to optimize each exercise, each
meal, each opportunity for performance enhancement," Patrick explains,
between fielding calls from clients who have questions such as what
supplement to take or the timing of their workouts. "It's a real art
and that's why I enjoy working with people like Jeff who are so eager to
participate and continue to actualize their potential; always pushing the
performance envelope. That's something we should all attempt to do. Not just
the elite athlete."
As a professional athlete for over 15 years, Jeff Cirillo has seen a lot of
sport performance ideas come and go. "What most intrigued me was how
thorough Patrick is and how he follows every thing I do so that he can make
immediate adjustments. Not just with the particular exercises or the
nutritional plan, but also with how I sleep, visualization techniques, what
my routine is on the road, even what I listen to on my iPod! I'm really
looking forward to having that personal support throughout the season with
my new team."
AllProActive has clients ranging from doctors and corporate executives to
professional athletes in football, soccer, cycling, martial arts, skiing,
and snowboarding. "I've always had a special interest in baseball.
However, all professional sports are difficult to break into because of
long-standing tradition, says Patrick as he takes a brief break from the
phones and email. But, when people see the performance of Jeff this year I
think a lot of eyes (and minds) are going to be opened to our training
methods."
One of the key elements of those methods is a training manual that outlines
the entire year to keep the client focused on the ultimate goal. Patrick
calls this the playbook. Some pages are blank. They'll be filled in as
needed with the relevant training information, but in Jeff Cirillo's
playbook there is one page at the back that's already inserted. He flips it
open to October 23, 2007. "That's the date of the first game of the
World Series, he says, brimming with boyish enthusiasm and expectation.
"Nice."
