Future
Founding CHEKPERFORMANCE is my response to the
frustration I've experienced with the fitness industry’s inability to meet people’s
developmental needs in a holistic manner. I believe in service and training
that not only builds physical strength and functionality, but also encourages,
guides and supports a person’s entire life. Promoting self-awareness as a means
to tangible physical goals is how I can coach anyone to their personal
best.
In addition to ten years of fulltime experience in the
fitness industry, I've trained as a competitive athlete since high
school where I was a 3-letter athlete and voted All-American in track (pole
vault). For four consecutive years, I was the Northwest Regional 35-40 age-group pole vault
champion, ranking in the top 10 nationally. I've played competitive soccer as
a goalkeeper, and continue to play competitive baseball as a catcher.
Currently, I'm excited to be training for the World Cycling Championship
in 2009.
In my personal life, I have a passion for athletics, nutrition, friendship, family, spirituality, writing, the best shoes
money can buy, and a darn good night’s sleep!
Don't compete, create!
Become successful by discovering your potential to
create your own success. -W.L. Wattle
